Our Legacy
1959Shri Narsee Monjee and Jamnabai Narsee Public Charitable Trust founded by Shri Chatrabhuj Narsee, Shri Pratap Narsee and Shri Dharamshi Narsee
1964Narsee Monjee College of Commerce established with the Narsee Monjee family being primary donors.
1971Shri Chatrabhuj Narsee became the President of SVKM, founded the Narsee Monjee Educational Trust and laid the foundation of Jamnabai Narsee School, Vile Parle.
1981Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies established with the Narsee Monjee family being primary donors.
1996Shri Chatrabhuj Narsee stepped down as the President of SVKM after 25 years of dedicated leadership and service.
1998Shri Chatrabhuj Narsee passes away on 1st July.
2004JNS is among the first schools in Mumbai to receive accreditation for offering the prestigious IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11 and 12.
2013The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the Primary Building of the Chatrabhuj Narsee School Campus was conducted on 13th November with great reverence, marking an auspicious beginning for the new phase of our institution's growth.
2015Establishment of Jamnabai Narsee School in GIFT City, Gujarat, and Jamnabai Narsee International School in Vile Parle
2016Commencement of the school on 1st August. Formal inauguration of Chatrabhuj Narsee School, Mumbai, by Shri Piyush Goyal and Smt. Hema Malini on 18th December.
2017Cambridge International School from Primary to Lower Secondary authorization received for CNS Mumbai on 21st May
2018Bhoomi Pujan performed for the Secondary Section building at CNS Mumbai on 2nd February, followed by 28th May, when the school received authorization as a Cambridge International School for the Cambridge Upper Secondary and Advanced Programme (IGCSE & A Levels).
2020On April 4, CNS Mumbai achieved a significant milestone by receiving authorization for the IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11 and 12, coinciding with the successful graduation of our first batch of Grade 10 students.
2021Inauguration of the Shooting Range on 26th January at CNS Mumbai by Raveena Tandon started in collaboration with international shooters Ronak Pandit & Heena Sidhu followed by the inauguration of the Multipurpose Sports Hall by Akshay Kumar on 5th Marc. Chatrabhuj Narsee School, Amanora Park Town, Pune commeneced with its admissions on 7th September.
2022CNS Mumbai celebrates the graduation of its first IBDP batch, marking a milestone in its academic journey, while CNS Amanora embarks on its own journey with the inaugural batch of students.
2023Celebrated the formal inauguration in April of Chatrabhuj Narsee School, Pune, along with its state-of-the-art auditorium and swimming pool, graced by Smt. Amruta Fadnavis. Received a prestigious congratulatory letter from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.
2024Inauguration of Shooting Range at CNS Pune by Ronak Pandit and Heena Sidhu on 9th July.
2025Inauguration of Dialogue Den - the Podcast Room at CNS Mumbai by Anil Kapoor on 27th February
